We build IWB at Firmanet Yazılım ve Teknoloji A.Ş. In 2021 we acquired iWorkBetter and, building on its experience, wrote the new IWB from scratch as separate software.

Our history

This timeline covers 20 years of IWB Classic and the new IWB. The old product's modules shaped the scope of the new one, but we wrote the code from scratch.

  1. 2006

    ODTÜ Teknokent

    Development of iWorkBetter began at the Middle East Technical University technology park in Ankara. The web-based business software started with Time Management and Project Management modules.

  2. 2010

    CRM and manufacturing

    The CRM, Vehicle Management, and Production Management modules were completed.

  3. 2012

    Service and communication

    Service Management, Email, Chat, and Calendar modules were added.

  4. 2013

    Laboratory

    The R&D Laboratory module and Cash Flow Planning were added.

  5. 2016

    e-Documents

    Modules for e-documents and business intelligence were added.

  6. 2017

    Statutory accounting

    General Accounting and Maintenance and Repair Management were added.

  7. 2020

    Firmanet founded

    Firmanet Yazılım ve Teknoloji A.Ş. was founded as part of Solimpeks Group.

  8. 2021

    iWorkBetter acquired

    Firmanet acquired iWorkBetter with all rights. That product is known today as IWB Classic.

  9. 2026

    The new IWBToday

    The new IWB launched on October 14, 2026. It is new, separate software, not a version upgrade of IWB Classic. It runs in the browser, and you can deploy the same product in the cloud or on your own server.

    Once you approve, we set up IWB and give your teams hands-on training.

    Our support team logs your requests and sees each one through to resolution.
